Background & Objective: This research aimed to study the role of the meaning of life in death anxiety and suicidal thoughts in women with cancer.Materials & Methods: The method of this research is correlation. The statistical population of the study included all women with cancer referred to Tawheed Hospital in Sanandaj City in 1400-1401. The sample size consists of one hundred people selected by purposive sampling. To collect data, Steger's Meaning in Life (MLQ), Templer's Death (DAS), and Beck's Suicidal Thoughts (BSSI) questionnaires were used. SPSS software was used in this research. Results: The information was analized using correlation tests and regression analysis. The regression conclusions showed that the meaning of life has an inverse relationship with suicidal thoughts, and death anxiety has a direct relationship with suicidal thoughts. The Pearson correlation results showed that the meaning of life predicts death anxiety and suicidal thoughts. Conclusion: In general, it can be concluded that the meaning of life plays an instrumental role in the death anxiety and suicidal thoughts of women with cancer.

Hereditary non polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC) also known as Lynch syndrome (LS), is an autosomal dominant cancer syndrome. Besides colorectal cancers, it predisposes patients to extracolonic cancers. Despite several extracolonic cancers have been reported on LS, we found a new face of it. A 43-year-old G2L2 patient with chief complaint of abnormal uterine bleeding. Her endometrium biopsy showed clear cell carcinoma, and the necessary work-ups have been done. But the patient's family history demonstrated HNPCC based on the Amsterdam 2 criteria. After some years, the patient presented to our hospital for fever, shivering and abdominal LUQ pain. Spiral CT scan showed a solid cyst with heterogeneous enhancement in the spleen, and hepatosplenomegaly. In this paper, another case with endometrial cancer as a sentinel cancer of LS is reported. This fact implicate that physicians should notice the family history of malignancies in patients with gynecologic cancers and consider LS.

Background & Objective: Gynecological cancer survivors have been growing, as a result of advancements in national cancer screening strategies, resulting in early-stage diagnosis, and cancer treatments developments. Lack of a valid documented assessment tool to measure their requirements for supportive care is detected. The aim was to develop a comprehensive scale that comprises all features of gynecologic cancer survivors` requirements in Iranian population.Materials & Methods: The Cancer Survivors Assessment Questionnaire NCCN2.2020 (National comprehensive cancer network) was translated including the instructions, and the answer choices by two native translators, including one fluent translator and one linguist. For qualitative face validity of the questionnaire at the disposal of 10 specialists were delegated to make the necessary changes. Content validity and content validity index were evaluated in terms of qualitative face validity and quantitative face validity. Necessary changes were applied. Results: The original Cancer Survivors Assessment Questionnaire NCCN2.2020 (National comprehensive cancer network) was condensed from 27 to 24 questions during the customization process. Questions related to lymphedema, and immunization were eliminated from the survey, as a result of low content validity index and scores. According to the panel of experts, ten questions including number 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 17, 18, 19, and 25 of the questionnaires were changed to a more suitable and comprehensible ones in Persian language. Conclusion: We suggest that the Persian version of cancer survivors’ assessment questionnaire be applied in populations with Persian language and that its sensitivity to variation be measured.

Background & Objective: Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers in women. One of the most important indicators that deal with all aspects of the patients' health is the Health-related quality of life (QOL). In this study, the QOL of women with cervical cancer in Iran was investigated.Materials & Methods: The present cross-sectional study examined the QOL of 139 patients with cervical cancer referred to Imam Khomeini hospital, affiliated with the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. For this study, a specific questionnaire of QOL in patients with cervical cancer was used. To determine the predictors of cervical cancer patients, the QOL linear regression model was used. Results: Findings of this study showed that the total score of QOL of patients was 20.97±1.29. Moreover, in the regression model, a significant relationship was observed between the type of treatment and patients' QOL scores and those patients who had neoadjuvant therapy plus surgery (β=-17.45, P < /i>=0.02) and those who received brachytherapy (β=- 14.86 and P < /i>=0.09) had a significantly lower QOL score. Conclusion: Overall, the QOL of people with cervical cancer was moderate. Implementing educational programs for service providers and choosing the appropriate type of treatment according to the stage of the disease and the patient's age can help control this type of disease and its complications and improve the QOL of patients.

Cancer in adolescent and young adults (AYA) includes people who are diagnosed with cancer at the age of 15–39. One of the main concerns and consequences of AYA cancer treatment in both sexes is infertility. Premature ovarian failure (POF) is common in multimodal chemotherapy regimens. There is a significant difference in the sensitivity of the ovary to drugs. In conclusion, in young cancer women, oophoropexy, infertility counseling, and embryo or oocyte cryopreservation should be considered. Medroxyprogesterone, oral contraceptive pill (OCP), or gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) should be prescribed in the risk of menorrhagia.

Background: Human papillomavirus (HPV) is thought to be the most common sexually transmitted viral disease. This infection continues to be an important topic. One of the most important conferences on human papillomavirus infection and related cancers is EUROGIN. The program also includes state of the art science on anogenital and head and neck cancer, inspiration, cooperation, and forums to share expertise and learn from leading experts in the field.
Methods: We reported an abstract of important articles and researches presented in this congress.
Results: HPV had rolled in oropharyngeal cancer. KI67/P16 is important for deciding on treatment of patients with HPV high-risk positive. Methylation can be used in the management of HPV high-risk patients. 9-valent HPV vaccination can prevent different anogenital cancers.
Conclusions: HPV has important role in different cancers. HPV vaccination can prevent a variety of anogenital cancers related to HPV.
